Mr Sidney sort sa 1e gagnante de 2 ans

22/06/2013 - Zoom Etalon

The filly is still owned by her breeder, Alain Louis Dreyfus, and is trained by Mikel Delzangles. She gave her sire his first success while the stallion did not get a great support for his first year. He only has 23 registered foals so this victory is more than commendable! Swinging Song, 5th on her debuts, won on her second outing just 9 days after Mr Sidney 's first runner finished 3rd at Chantilly for Christiane Head-Maarek

Swinging Song (green silks worn by Umberto Rispoli) looks a lot like a sire Mr Sidney.

Mr Sidney has an american pediree and only raced across the Atlantic. An exotic flavor which did not attract the french breeders... As a yearling, he cost the trifling sum of 3.9 million dollars. Mr Sidney is by Storm Cat and out of Tomisue's Delight, a multiple Gr.1 winner in USA from the family of Mineshaft, Monashee Mountain and Flagbird, worthy racehorses in France. In 2013, his 4th year at stud, always a difficult one, Mr Sidney covered 35 mares. He now just has to follow Kentucky Dynamite's footsteps, as in one breeding season, he went from a book of 16 mares to 80 in 2013. Same for Motivator from 45 to 135...
