After working at the National Studs, with Pierre Julienne and then as manager of the Haras de Mortrée, Pascal Noue set out on his own in 2007 in the Orne region. He then opened the brand new Haras de la Hétraie in 2008. After extensive searching, he managed to acquire a 55-hectare cattle farm at Cérisy la Forêt between the Manche and Calvados regions. The undulating land, situated alongside a forest, had never been used for horses. Pascal Noue built 60 stables and fenced the entire domaine in wooden rails. The facilites are extremely functional and practical, allowing his staff to spend as much time as possible taking care of the horses.

The Haras de la Hétraie offers all breeding services, from year-round board of broodmares to stallions, foaling and sales preparation. The stud is equipped with a horse walker but does not prepare yearlings for the August sales.

Pascal Noue keeps his own broodmare band, oriented towards the jumping discipline which is his great passion. He also has two trotting mares.

Pascal Noue enjoys the challenge of launching new sires and stands 6 stallions at his stud (see below). In addition he  has also sent three stallions to other studs. Polish Summer is now in Mayenne, at Patricia and Jemuel Vittori's Haras de la Forêt. Great Pretender and Malinas, whose first 3yo will race in 2010, both stand at Sebastien Mourier's Haras de la Clayette in the Saone et Loire region.

From the "Abdullah" family of Dance Routine, Daring Miss and Spanish Moon, the first crop of talented miler Apsis will race as juveniles in 2010.

A real jumper who combines conformation, pedigree and performance, Kapgarde has produced numerous Graded winners at Auteuil from his first crop who were 4yo in 2009.
 

A leader in France over 6 furlongs to a mile, Satri is a brother of Lawman and Latice. The first yearlings of this 16.2hh stallion will be seen in 2010.
 

Imposing yet precocious, this uncle of Silver Frost joined the Haras de la Hétraie mid-way through the 2009 season. He now embarks upon his first full season.

Making his debut in 2010, Grand Prix de Paris winner Zambezi Sun is a son of Dansili, from a top class maternal line successful over all distances including sprints.

Kap Rock is the first stallion son of Vidéo Rock. A winner at Auteuil, this brother of Kapgarde retires to the Haras de la Hétraie in 2010.
