The two Graded meetings at Enghien and Auteuil were kind to the French stallion ranks. Two pillars of French jumps breeding, Turgeon and Sleeping Car, both took a share of the spoils thanks to Sleeping Blue and Brighter Later. Rather more unexpected in this discipline, Slickly and Della Francesca also shone courtesy of Goldslic and Cristal Bonus.
This was a first Group success for Della Francesca, and the same can be said of Roli Abi whose daughter Rolie de Vindecy took the Gr 3 Prix André Michel.
Discover d'Auteuil was able to rely once again upon his flagship son Or Noir de Somoza, while Rubi Ball, a son of Network was also successful at Auteuil.
2yo No Risk At All, a Listed-winning son of My Risk
Ultimately Lucky is the dual-purpose champion of the week as he took a Listed hurdle event with 3yo Like A Storm, and another on the flat with 6yo Wysiwyg Lucky. Both are females.
Finally, My Risk has created another stir with his juveniles. After the success of barouda in the Gr 3 Prix des Reservoirs, he took a Listed with No Risk At All, a son of the wonderful Newness and therefore bred for Auteuil...
