Famous international sprinter, precocious as well as tough, the triple group winner, Moss Vale was purchased by Haras de la Rousselière to pursue his stallion career  in Anjou in 2013. They wanted to bring speed into a stallion fleet mainly focused on national hunt (particularly Maresca Sorrento) ) and it seems that it will be well worth it following the former english sire's achievement.

Indeed, competition is tough in England as for speed and precocity. Not like France, the british usually send their juveniles on the track early in the season so they can get ready for the almighty Royal Ascot in June... And this is exactly what Go Glamorous (Elnadim)'s trainer, Ron Harris, had in mind for his filly as he had the firm intention of running her in the Queen Mary Stakes (Gr.2). The confident trainer can still trust his estimated filly as the 2012 runner up in Kempton was Ceiling Kitty who did win the Queen Mary after her prep race.

The daughter of Moss Vale took on every one in the last furmong while she looked like having lost the race 2f out after being squeezed on the rail. Her jockey had to take her back and go on the outside. Trainer of Orton Park, Tobias Coles said to the Racing Post : " There is a good race for her at Newmarket during the Craven meeting as well as two nice races in France. "

Moss Vale was already successful at the end of 2012 with his first 3yos and records more than 30 individual winners, 50% of runners, including the "black type" contender  Hard Yards, 2nd in a Gr.3 at the Curragh at 2. Nelly and Pierre de la Guillonnière are now looking forward to the next 2yo crop !
