Disputée pour la 1e fois sur l'hippodrome de Keeneland, sur le même site et la veille des fameuses ventes aux coeur du Kentucky, la Breeders'Cup 2015 s'annonce extraordinaire avec la présence d'American Pharoah, Golden Horn et aussi des français Karakontie, Bawina, Queen's Jewel, Esotérique, Miss France, etc...Voir la liste complète des engagements ci-dessous. FRANCE SIRE TV vous ramènera cette année aux States !
Gagnante de 2 Gr.1 en France et en Angleterre cette année, Esotérique sera un des porte drapeaux de la France dans la Breeders'Cup 2015.
Certains auraient rêvé d'un duel entre les 2 meilleurs 3 ans du monde, mais nous aurons déjà la chande de les voir courir le même jour au même endroit, à moins d'une heure d'intervalle. Le crack américain American Pharaoh, vainqueur de la Triple Couronne cette année (Kentucky Derby / Preakness Stakes / Belmont Stakes), un triplé resté en échec depuis 1978, sera la star de la journée, au départ de la Breeders'Cup Classic qui est le clou du spectacle, la course la mieux payée avec 5 millions de dollars d'allocations.
Juste avant, Golden Horn aura dit ses adieux au public. Lui qui vient de remporter le Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, réussissant ainsi le rare doublé Derby d'Epsom / Arc, avec en plus entre les 2 Gr.1 Eclipse Stakes et Irish Champion Stakes, le pensionnaire de John Gosden changera radicalement de décor dans la Breeders'Cup Turf. Cette course se dispute certes sur le gazon mais sur une petite piste plate qui n'a strictement rien à voir avec les parcours anglais ou français. Son entraineur fut installé pendant 10 ans Outre-Atlantique et ne part pas dans l'inconnu, sachant qu'il ne peut se permettre de prendre d'énormes risques avec sa vedette qui partira au haras dès le printemps prochain à Dalham Hall (Darley) chez Cheikh Mohammed en Angleterre.
Les français auront alors déjà couru, et en nombre dans leurs 2 courses préférées, le Mile et le Filly & Mare Turf. Le Niarchos Karakontie défendra son titre sur les 1600 m du mile, aux côtés de Bawina (C. Laffon-Parias), Esotérique (A. Fabre), Make Believe (A. Fabre) et Impassable (C. Laffon-Parias).
Cette dernière est aussi engagée les 2000 m du Filly & Mare Turf, avec Miss France (A. Fabre) et Queen's Jewel (F. Head)
