Placé à 9 reprises en autant de sorties, Quartz du Houley (Brametot) a signé un 1er succès bien mérité dans le Prix de Versailles, support de Quinté à Saint-Cloud. Attentiste au sein du peloton, l'élève et représentant de Catherine Pelier et de Gaston Hébert a trouvé le passage en dehors à 150 m du but et a bien accéléré pour s'imposer d'1/2 longueur devant Big Log (Ultra). Quartz du Houley est un fils de Brametot (Rajsaman), qui fait la monte au haras du Grand Chesnaie. C'est un frère de Ficelle du Houley (Air Chief Marshal), gagnante d'un Quinté elle aussi sur la P.S.F. deauvillaise et 2e du Premio Verziere Memorial Aldo Cirla (Gr.3), entre autres. Photo APRH.
