Gowran (IRE) : coup d'arrêt pour Klassical Dream

Grand favori du prochain Stayer's Hurdle (Gr.1) au festival de Cheltenham, le "FR" Klassical Dream (Dream Well) n'est que l'ombre de lui-même aujourd'hui à Gowran Park dans le Galmoy Hurdle, un Gr.2 qui lui semblait pourtant promis. Celui qui restait sur sa victoire de Gr.1 à Leopardstown sombre à mi ligne-droite et finit 4e. Il est doublé avant la dernière haie par la jument Royal Kahala (Flemensfirth), protégée de Peter Fahey qui venait de remporter son premier groupe. La 7 ans affiche ses constants progrès et gagne son ticket pour le festival en dominant sûrement l'énorme outsider Home By The Lee (Fame And Glory).
