Le Mans : Azorian donne un doublé à Augustin Madamet

Epreuve pour des 3 ans n’ayant pas encore gagné, le Prix de la Milesse réunissait douze poulains et hongres sur 1950 mètres. Emmené sur un bon tempo par Bo Daddy (Kodiac), un autre cantilien nommé Azorian (New Bay) voyageait sereinement dans son dos après avoir bénéficié de la corde 1. A l’entrée de la ligne droite, le protégé de Gavin Hernon passe à l’offensive et se détache facilement dans les cent cinquante derniers mètres avec l’aide d’Augustin Madamet qui en profite pour signer un coup de deux. A trois longueurs, Setocity (Le Havre) termine très correctement pour s’octroyer le premier accessit suivi d’Hurricango (Romanised) qui débute bien tout en montrant qu’il est encore très « vert » pour l’entrainement local d’Eric Libaud.
