Totalement déclassé dans cette épreuve Starlord fait preuve d'une nette supériorité dans la phase finale, laissant son dauphin Kando (Belardo) à 5,5 longueurs. Troisième, Arnay le Duc (Sageburg) effectue de bons débuts. Starlord offre sa première victoire de l'année à Samuel Legrix.
