Vainqueur au niveau Gr.2 et Gr.3 à Sha Tin l'an passé, My Wish (Flying Artie) s'est offert un 1er succès de Gr.1 dans le FWD Champions Mile, qu'il a remporté au prix d'une belle accélération après un parcours à l'arrière-garde. Le cheval était associé à Hugh Bowman, auteur d'un doublé suite à son sacre dans l'édition précédente avec Red Lion (Belardo).
