Aix-les-Bains : Diane's Star sans trembler

Restons avec la génération des 3 ans du Prix Dauphiné Libéré, un maiden sur la distance de 1800 mètres. Toujours à l'arrivée depuis ses débuts, la pensionnaire de Patrice Cottier Diane's Star n'avait cependant pas réussi à franchir le poteau en tête en 4 tentatives. Associée pour la première fois à Marvin Grandin, le premier jockey de l'écurie, la fille de Dark Angel a justifiée la grande confiance des parieurs, l'emportant très facilement. Issue de l'élevage Godolphin, Diane's Star est remarquablement bien née, car nièce de l'étalon Centenial. Elle appartient également à la souche des gagnants de Gr.1 Panthalassa, Croco Rouge, Taipan et Ali-Royal.
