Attentiste à l'arrière-garde, le pensionnaire d'Hugo Palmer s'est imposé au prix d'une longue accélération sur le fil, un nez devant Yaroogh (Dubawi).
Make You Smile est un fils de Mehmas (Acclamation), stationné à Tally Ho Stud en Irlande, et de Lady Of The Lamp (Invincible Spirit), qui a remporté 3 courses de suite en 5 sorties outre-Manche à 3 ans. C'est un cousin de l'étalon Circus Maximus (Galileo), vainqueur des St James's Palace Stakes, du Prix du Moulin de Longchamp et des Queen Anne Stakes (Grs.1).
