https://twitter.com/i/status/1979517834326634628QIPCO BRISTISH CHAMPIONS LONG DISTANCE CUP (GR.1) Leader incontesté chez les stayers, le 7 ans de John & Thady Gosden Trawlerman (Golden Horn) s'impose en patron dans cette Champions Long Distance Cup (Gr.1) remportant ainsi son second Gr.1 de l'année, après la God Cup d'Ascot (Gr.1) ce printemps. Monté par William Buick, Trawlerman repart de plus belle dans la ligne droite et s'impose sûrement devant son compagnon d'entraînement Sweet William (Sea The Stars), auteur d'une belle fin de course.
Trawlerman restera à l'entrainement l'an prochain pour tenter le doublé dans la Gold Cup (Gr.1). Défendant les couleurs et l'élevage Godolphin, c'est un fils de Golden Horn et de Tidespring (Monsun), qui entraînée par Henri-Alex Pantall, s’était classée seconde du Deutsches St. Leger (Gr.3). Sa grand mère, Sweet Stream (Shantou), avait remporté le Prix Vermeille (Gr.1).
