Chantilly : Phineas, un royal canter !

Disputé sur les 2.000 mètres cantilliens, le Prix du Canal de la Machine a vu la nette supériorité de Phineas (Lope de Vega), qui a signé une victoire pleine d’autorité. Le représentant de Wertheimer & Frère, entraîné par André Fabre et associé à Maxime Guyon, a rapidement trouvé sa cadence avant de se détacher franchement dans la ligne droite, laissant ses rivaux à distance. Global Health (Farhh), venu d'Allemagne, s’empare de la deuxième place sans jamais pouvoir inquiéter le lauréat, tandis que Spanish Breeze (Too Darn Hot) s'empare du troisième accessit sous la selle d'Aurélien Lemaitre. La réussite de Phineas n'est pas anodine puisque c'est la nièce d'une certaine Aventure, lauréate du Prix Vermeille (Gr.1) et la souche du très bon stayer Double Major.
